En nyligen genomförd ABAC opinionsundersökning visar att numera tror 90.1% av befolkningen att civila och statliga företrädare under den nuvarande regeringen är korrupta, detta är en drastisk förändring sedan den senaste undersökningen år 2005, till detta ska läggas att dom som har tappat tilltron till landets rättssystem när det kommer till att åtala korrupta statliga anställda har tripplats.
Undersökningen visar också att 76.1% av befolkningen tolererar korruption i regeringen bara dom själva har ett bra liv, detta är en ökning ifrån 63.2% seda år 2008.
Som vanligt får man väl ta opinionsundersökningar i Thailand med en nypa salt, men ett visst intresse kan dom ju ha ändå.

ABAC Poll: Thai people are willing to accept corruption in the government
Bangkok, 08 November 2010 (NNT) - ABAC poll has indicated that the majority of Thais do not mind corruption in the government, as long as the nation prospers and people make a decent living.
The survey, conducted by Aswsumption University, was in relation to people's perceptions of the present government , corruption problems, and their faith in democracy; as opposed to those prior to the 1949 coup.
According to the survey, 90.1 percent of the people believe that civil servants and state officials in the current government are corrupt; the percentage is drastically up from that of the previous survey conducted in the year 2005. In addition, the number of people losing faith in the nation's justice system when it comes to prosecuting corrupt state officials has tripled.
The poll also has also revealed that more people, 76.1 percent, are willing to tolerate corruption in the government as long as they have a good life, up from 63.2 percent found in 2008.
