Hej
Security agencies estimate number of protesters at 100,000

The number of the protesters varied on estimates by several accounts, with security sources saying that it may be around 100,000 while the protest leaders put it at nearby a million, while police have not cited any number which is uncharacteristic to their standard procedure to regularly reported the figures to the media in any public gathering or political rally.
It is difficult for any party to reach the nearest accurate number because there are a large number of them staying in nearby areas and branch roads connected to the Ratchadamnoen Avenue.
The protesters behind the rally stage at the Democracy Monument spilled to Sanam Luang and to the Pin Klao Bridge. The protesters spilled to the main public ground of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration on the right side of the stage.
The roads on the left and right side of the main stage were also occupied, let alone the main road on the front of the stage where protesters were seen spilling to Pan Fah Bridge and Larn Luang road.
Enligt Bangkok Post varierar uppgifterna av antalet demonstranter mellan 59 000 och 180 000, men ingen är närheten av dom siffror som Suthep och demokraterna går ut med och som en del på forumet verkar ha fått för sig
Were there a million? Or only 59,000?

NewsA contentious question following the major anti-government rally on Sunday is: Did as many as one million people show up on Ratchadamnoen as claimed by protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban?
The question has resonated in online chatrooms and social media as estimates from government figures and protest groups have varied widely.
Mr Suthep and his fellow former Democrat MPs who organised the rally insisted Sunday's protest had drawn more than one million participants based on the number of people who picked up numbered stickers they handed out at various spots around the protest area.
Red-shirt leader Jatuporn Prompan, however, rejected Mr Suthep's claim. Speaking at the red-shirt demonstration at Rajamangala Stadium on Sunday night, Mr Jatuporn said authorities estimated the crowd .at Ratchadamnoen to be about 59,000 people
"That is more than 941,000 people short [of the target]," Mr Jatuporn told his red-shirt supporters.
Metropolitan police spokesman Adul Narongsak estimated the Ratchadamnoen crowd peaked at 82,000 people at 9pm on Sunday. Labour Minister Chalerm Yubamrung gave a larger estimate yesterday saying Sunday's rally could have attracted about 120,000 participants.
The National Security Council put the number significantly higher at 180,000.
